The Pharos Traveler 127 doesn't match the BlackBerry Curve's elegance in design or interface--but right now, at Dell's site, it isn't priced like a BlackBerry either. This solidly made phone with a worthy touchscreen is on sale for $269 (after an instant savings of over $170 plus a $30 mail-in rebate). The Traveler 127 has a lackluster keyboard and Windows Mobile, two attributes that made us question whether it was worth its initial retail price of $530 in our review. But if you're looking for an unlocked smartphone with speedy Internet browsing and excellent GPS capabilities (Smart Navigator software included), this deal is for you.
