AT&T Axes Nation 1350 Plan for IPhone

As reported on Friday, AT&T rolled out a new price for the unlimited voice and data plan for the iPhone. The old package cost subscribers US$130 a month ($100 for unlimited voice and $30 for unlimited data); AT&T's new unlimited voice and data plan costs $100 per month.

When I reported the news on Friday, I wondered what that might mean for the Nation 1350 plan, which gave subscribers 1350 minutes (including rollover minutes) plus unlimited data for a total of $110 per month. You'll notice that's more than the revised $100 monthly rate AT&T was planning to charge unlimited users.

AT&T seems to have found a solution to that problem: A check of the wireless provider's Website on Monday found that the Nation 1350 plan has gone the way of the dodo.

AT&T now offers three plans for iPhone subscribers. In addition to the newly priced $100-a-month unlimited voice and data plan, iPhone users can opt for the $90-a-month Nation 900 plan (900 minutes with rollover minutes, plus unlimited data), and the $70-a-month Nation 450 plan (450 minutes with rollover minutes, plus unlimited data).
