Lufthansa Invites iPhone 4G Loser to Munich for a Beer

The Apple employee who likely left a prototype of Apple's next iPhone in a German themed Redwood City, California bar, has been invited to Germany by airline Lufthansa.

Apple's Gray Powell has been invited to Munich by Lufthansa via Twitter, promising complimentary Business Class tickets.

"At Lufthansa we also noted with great interest your passion for German beer and culture," notes Lufthansa's Nicola C Lange.

Lufthansa added that Powell could "literally pick up where you left off" on arrival in Munich, highlighting the airline's new Bavarian Beer Garden Business Lounge.

Powell was drinking in Gourmet Haus Staudt, billed as a German Specialty Store and Beer Garden, when the iPhone was allegedly lost. The bar is close to Apple's headquarters in Cupertino, California.

Apple has requested the iPhone be returned from a tech and gossip site who paid $5,000 for the prototype.
