FileMaker Updates FileMaker Pro 11, Pro, Server

Apple owned FileMaker has updated FileMaker Pro 11, FileMaker Pro 11 Advanced, FileMaker Server 11 and FileMaker Server 11 Advanced.

The version 11.0v2 update for the cross-platform database software addresses several bugs for both Mac and PC users.

The FileMaker Pro 11 and FileMaker Pro 11 Advanced 11.0v2 updates resolves issues with Field Definition, Recovery, Snapshot Link, Scripting, Quick Find, Value Lists, Printing, Runtime, Plug-ins, Excel Import, IWP settings and xDBC.

The update also addresses an issue with empty merge variables appearing on layouts in Browse, Find, and Preview mode, along with several other issues.

The FileMaker Server 11 and FileMaker Server 11 Advanced 11.0v2 updates addresses issues related to Database Server, Recovery, Admin Console, PHP Site Assistant and xDBC.

System requirements for FileMaker Pro 11 and FileMaker Pro Advanced 11 are Mac OS X 10.5.7 or later and is Universal with the exception of the Intel only Mac OS X 10.6. PC requirements are Windows XP Professional, Home Edition (SP 3), Windows Vista Ultimate, Business, Home Premium (SP 2) and Windows 7 Ultimate, Professional, Home Premium. FileMaker Pro 11 Advanced costs £391.51. FileMaker Pro 10 or 9, FileMaker Pro 10 or 9 Advanced, or FileMaker Pro 11 users can upgrade for £234.43. This offer applies to FileMaker Pro 8.5 or 8 and FileMaker Pro 8.5 or 8 Advanced users until 23rd September 2010.

FileMaker Server 11 costs £831.81. FileMaker Server 10 or 9 or FileMaker Server 10 or 9 Advanced users can upgrade for £498.61. This offer applies to FileMaker Server 8 users until 23rd September 2010.

FileMaker Server 11 Advanced costs £2,616.81. FileMaker Server 10 or 9 Advanced or FileMaker Server 11 can upgrade for £1,569.61. This offer applies to FileMaker Server 8 Advanced users until 23rd September 2010.
