This Internet Life: Misplaced Tumblr users take over Mashable

Much to the chagrin of angsty teens and GIF lovers everywhere, the popular microblogging site Tumblr has been down for most of Wednesday. The company has shut down its servers while it fixes its network issues, leaving millions of Tumblr users temporarily homeless.

Luckily, in a bout of Internet weirdness, many of them have found a new home in the comments section of a Mashable article, where thousands of Tumblr fans are mourning the loss of their microblogs the only way they know how: By posting silly memes and GIFs.

The article currently sits at 2000 comments, each stranger than the last. Who knows how long this Mashable party will go on (hint: probably until Tumblr goes live again), so if you want to join in on the fun I'd suggest checking it out now.
