Meet Catmoji. It exists because its creators rightfully believe that the Internet loves cats, and that there is the need for a social network centered around our indolent feline monarchs. Spearheadeded by Matthew Phiong and Koekoe Loo, Catmoji is a lot like Pinterest, except with cats. Gratuitious amounts of cats.
Currently still in an "invite-only" state, Catmoji has all the functions you might expect of a social network made to resemble Pinterest. Here, you'll be able to share videos, images, GIFs, post comments, and make like-minded acquaintances.
On top of that, you can also create customized profiles that will, quite naturally, involve whiskered avatars. I mean, how else will you be able to properly showcase your immense love for all things fluffy and borderline homicidal?
As noted by Fast Company, it's kind of amazing to think that this hasn't been done before. Given how obsessed the Internet is with kittens, why hasn't anyone capitalized on this idea before? Eesh. Finally, if you still needed encouragement to poke at the site, it looks like Catmoji also has stuff categorized by emotional state, along with a panoply of criminally cute cat-themed badges.
Catmoji: It's so surgery sweet, my teeth are rotting from me just writing about it.
