Unlock Your iPhone 4! Dev-Team Releases Ultrasn0w for iPhone 4

Complete Coverage

You can now unlock your iPhone 4, thanks to the hard working folks at Dev-Team.

Dev-Team, the group of intrepid iPhone hackers, has just released the update to its unlock client "ultrasn0w." The unlock client now supports the iPhone 4, which means iPhone 4 users everywhere are free to hop off of AT&T and onto another carrier. Or, at least, jailbreaking iPhone 4 users everywhere.

Unlocking your iPhone 4 is a pretty simple process, providing your phone is jailbroken (if it's not jailbroken, you can fix that by going to JailbreakMe.com on your iPhone's Safari browser--remember that this will void your iPhone warranty and that JailbreakMe uses an open unpatched security flaw to work its magic). Once you're jailbroken, simply download ultrasn0w from Cydia (if it's not there, add the repo: repo666.ultrasn0w.com) and install it. Voila! Super easy, but if you're still struggling, here's a handy little video:

Happy unlocking!
