AT&T recently announced they will begin accepting preorders for Samsung's white hot Galaxy S4 beginning April 16, though no release date has yet been made public.
The S4 will be available on AT&T for $250 with a two-year commitment. During T-Mobile’s recent announcement of their radical new pricing strategy and newly LTE’d-up network, the company said they will make the S4 available on May 1 for $579 with no contract ($99 down, $20 a month for 24 months). All other major carriers have committed to offering the S4, but have as of yet not offered concrete details.
But for those who think the S4’s 5-inch screen is a bit too beefy and intimidating, it appears that an S4 mini may be right around the corner.
According to Business Week, a “mini” version of the S4 will go on sale “soon after” the full version’s release. According to the website sammobile, the 4.3-inch S4 mini will be launched in either June or July and, like its bigger brother, come equipped with a Super AMOLED display and 1.6Ghz Dual-Core CPU.
Samsung has previously released a mini version of the Galaxy S III, but it was only available outside the US.
