Today at Computex: Company press events, Haswell in the spotlight

Intel’s Haswell chips grabbed the early spotlight at Computex, but the new Core microprocessor technology isn’t the only news to come out of the Taipei, Taiwan trade show. This IDG News Service video previews what to expect on the first day of the show as Acer, MSI, Asus, and ARM hold press conferences to tout new products.

Look for smaller Windows tablets—possibly an 8-inch model—coming from Acer as well as new styles of laptop-tablet hybrids.

Still, Haswell remains the biggest news at Computex. Check out all of PCWorld’s Haswell coverage, including a review of the CyberPower Fangbook EVO HX7-200 laptop and a look at Intel’s new desktop CPU lineup.
