The screen-sharing product can either be accessed via join.me's dedicated website or via an app that can be downloaded to a PC desktop. Simply click the 'share' button to start a meeting and then distribute the nine-digit access code to anyone you want to see your desktop.
To join a meeting simply head the the website and enter the code into the 'Join' box. Within a few seconds the user will be able to view the presenter's screen.
"When we set out to design join.me, we wanted to create something that was light, fast and ridiculously simple to use. But the best user experience doesn't stop with product design," said Kevin Bardos, LogMeIn's vice president of collaboration products.
Join.me is free to use and allows up to 250 participants to join an online meeting. A Pro version that offers extra function including meeting schedulers, personalised meeting codes and the ability to control who can come in and out of meetings through 'meeting lock' and 'request-to-join' options, is also available. The Pro version costs $29 (
