Google’s annual developer mecca, Google I/O, now has an official date: It runs June 25 and 26 at the Moscone West Convention Center in downtown San Francisco.
Google will stream the various keynotes and sessions via live stream and through I/O Extended community events for those participating around the world. There isn’t too much information on Google I/O 2014 just yet—or even a new logo. But Sundar Pichai, Google’s senior vice president in charge of Android, Chrome and Google apps, did write that the company is making changes to registration so that attendees won’t have to scramble to get in once registration opens:
We’ll be implementing a new system, where you can submit your interest to attend Google I/O 2014. Successful applicants will then be randomly selected and notified shortly thereafter.
Google will follow up with more details on the official Google Developers Google+ page. Stay tuned!
