A real-life--and more importantly, street-legal--version of the iconic Lightcycle from the Tron movies can now be yours for a cool $55,000, thanks to a Florida-based motocycle shop.
The challenging build was completed by Parker Brother Choppers, who based the design on the new lightcycle seen in the upcoming Tron sequel, Tron: Legacy.
Parker Brothers Choppers' Jeff Halverson detailed that the ambitious 474-pound bike packs in a Suzuki TLR1000 V-twin engine, and it's wrapped in a steel frame and finished in a fibreglass bodywork.
Halverson told Wired that the project was unique because there's no real-life reference. The lightcycles we know from the movies are strictly virtual, so Parker Brothers Choppers had to rely on a collection of images found online to create the bike.
The unique, fully-functional bike measures in at over 8 feet long, and is 23 inches wide. For the rare few of you that get the chance to ride one, you will find yourself 28.5 inches off the ground, in a position that can only be described as horizontal.
For an extra geeky touch, an iPad can be docked into the bike to display various statistics about your ride.

Cool huh? However, if blowing $55,000 on a bike doesn't sound so appealing, Tron fans can get their themed fix for a lot less thanks to this Tron Gaming Mouse.
