Google Teases with Android 3 Video

We've been hearing a lot about Android 3.0 (aka Honeycomb) and how Google is positioning it as the first version of Android intended for tablets. Well today we finally got a sneak peek, compliments of Google's blog.

Google seems to be pushing features that put Honeycomb in direct competition with the iPad: web browser, e-book reading (via Google Books, of course), a version of Gmail optimized for tablets. Then they throw in Google Maps and a new YouTube experience for good measure.

What excites me is that concept of a kind of desktop metaphor with a few active widgets running. Anyway, no sense in me rambling on when you can see for yourself. Video embedded below.
