I love robots as it is, and this little guy sparked my interest when I saw it "battling" with a cat in the video below. It can be operated with a controller or be put into autonomous mode where it has the ability to be tired, bored, or happy. When it's tired, the robot will start to move slowly and eventually sit down. When it's bored it will try to get your attention, and becomes happy when it senses your hand.
It also has the potential to pull off some simple acrobatic tricks as well, enough to entertain children and household pets. The robot is based on Arduino and all the instructions are online including the source code and build log.
