Notification Notes is a great example of an app that fulfills a distinctive niche in the world of organization tools: It's handy for keeping track of more-immediate tasks. Using Notification Notes, you can create notes that appear as icons on your Android phone's status bar.
The app emphasizes a minimalist design; if you are seeking an organizational tool that does a lot more, you should look elsewhere. The biggest thing that Notification Notes brings to the table is the ability to create both Sticky notes and Reminder notes. Sticky notes remain pinned to your notification bar, while Reminder notes will tell you how much time you have left before your task is due. The latter is useful for setting deadlines that you have to accomplish in a day. The biggest weakness of the Reminder notes is that they give you only about a 24-hour time period to work with, so if you have a deadline that is several days away a calendar app is a more appropriate tool to use.
Although some people might not like how little Notification Notes has to offer, I appreciate the simple design, and I like having reminders appear on the status bar of my phone. I personally have found the app to be a simple and effective tool for quick reminders.
