Paper Plastic Rescuing the Environment With Every Page

[Photo: PEGA Design]We are always looking for ways to get rid of the plastics used in electronics, but what if we just started by making them with something biodegradable?

PEGA Design, which has already had a hand in bamboo-cladding the Asus U33jc and corny plastic, might just have the solution with their latest project, Paper Alloys. Using a mix of recycled loose-leaf paper and polypropylene, Paper PP Alloy comes out injection molded just like regular plastics. PEGA claims that the product is strong, sturdy, flexible, and cheaper to produce.
