Job Posting Reveals 'Games on Google'

Several web sites are built off of social gaming, and it looks like Google is opening up a new business for just that purpose.

Although the social gaming scene is largely dominated by heavy hitters like Zynga and Apple -- and as an umbrella for several other companies, Facebook -- Google's wide network of influence makes for an interesting gambit. It'll be interesting to see if Games at Google is used as a Google App, or its own separate website service. According to The Telegraph, Google's network currently boasts a whopping one billion users a month -- several of which could be prime targets for social games.
