This Is Halloween

Theme 2 portrays two Jack-o-Lanterns in a spooky forest (the artist is Isaura Simon). Your windows and menus retain their white background but the title bars are dressed in shades of orange and deep purple. The fonts are an easy-to-read Verdana.

The cursors are very unobtrusive: you get a small orange arrow for a pointer, and a small orange I-beam in working files. When your computer is busy, you see a flying witch silhouetted against a moon.

The spooky sounds are taken from Danny Elfman's "The Nightmare Before Christmas" soundtrack and are used sparingly. The icons include a pumpkin for the Recycle Bin, scary eyes for My Documents, and so on. Patina provides a matching screen saver at her Web site.

Installation: Unzip the theme archive into C:/Program Files/Plus!/Themes. Activate it by right-clicking your desktop, choosing Display Properties, and selecting This Is Halloween from the themes list.
