The software claims to remove the most prevalent rogue applications, including WinAntiSpyware/WinAntiVirus, SpyAxe, VirusBlast, VirusBursters, as well as many others. Make sure before doing your first scan that you update the program's database, or else it might not find all the rogue applications on your PC. It's exceedingly simple to use. Run the program, click the Scan button, and it finds any rogue applications, then removes them. If you happen to know that it incorrectly identifies a real application as a rogue one, you can add the app to an Exclude List, and from that point on, RogueRemover will ignore it. Another nice touch is that it provides information about all of the rogue software that it removes.
Note: The developer's Web site claims that the program runs under Windows Vista, but on our machine, it refused to install properly, and would not run. It did run under Windows XP. However, the vendor has ceased supporting this product, so use it at your own risk.
