Riva FLV Player

Riva's FLV player is a handy way to play back FLV files, i.e., Flash Video files that you create with Adobe's Flash or download on the Internet. It never crashed during my tests and the video quality was as good as I've seen. The program is about a 1MB smaller download than its equally free competitor, Martijn Devisser's FLV Player 2.0; however, it lacks that player's ability to halve or double the size of the picture--you're stuck with the original size, which can be quite small sometimes. On the other hand, the audio didn't seem to crackle as happens occasionally with its rival. Try both, keep the one you like.

Note: This program is donationware. It is free to try, but the author accepts and encourages donations towards further development.
