Plug-ins let you hide the system tray icon, block image and video searches, and block access to MySpace. The standard version installs in all Windows profiles. If you want to filter only one user, you'll need to install Naomi Personal Edition instead, available from the author's site.

Naomi is easy to install, and there's nothing to configure. One caveat: You need to set a password to access the controls. If you forget that password, it is very difficult to remove the program.

Parents who want a quick and easy way to protect children on the Web will want to give this free program a try. Just be sure to keep that password in a safe place.
