Recipes Ship is free software put out by RecipeShip.com, which collects thousands of recipes from across the Web and showcases creations that members upload--and the site is a hoot, by the way. Where else could you find recipes for "Bbq boston butt" or "Pork and Bean Crackers"?
Like RecipeShip.com, the program is loaded with oddly spelled recipes that are vaguely attributed and likely haven't been tested. You'll find categories like "poul" (meaning Soul Food) and "SeaFoods." There's even a selection of Afghan recipes to try. The directions and measurements are all over the map, literally; I'd use the recipes for inspiration rather than directions.
You can add your own recipes to the database, but you'll need to type everything into database fields--there's no import or export functions, but you can print out individual pages.
If you're having a hard time keeping track of your recipes, and don't mind typing them all into a database, then give the free Recipes Ship a try. At the very least, browsing through the hundreds of idiosyncratically worded recipes is entertaining--and could be inspiring.
