This free Christmas Windows 7 theme has plenty of personality.

This Windows 7 theme showcases the work of DeviantArt digital artists and contributors to The Freesound Project.

Load up the DeviantArt Christmas Theme and you'll get three offbeat Christmas wallpapers, hand-picked for their quirky sense of humor and graphic style: Vlad Gerasimov's "A Small Gift for Christmas," in which a penguin presents his (or her?) sweetheart with a surprise; Satria Wahab's "Snowman Christmas," a beautifully rendered 3D scene; and Phyllis Wirick's Disney-themed "Christmas in July."

The DeviantArt Christmas Theme includes three Christmassy sounds--"It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas," plus two variants on sleigh bells--and selections from Microsoft's Festival sound theme. Your windows turn a nice blue that complements all three wallpapers, and your screen saver is set to Bubbles (which seemed appropriate).

If you've got an offbeat sense of humor and appreciate high-quality digital art, then this Windows 7 theme is for you. It's definitely got a place on my desktop throughout the holidays.

Note: To install this theme, just uncompress the zip archive and double-click the themepack file within. Windows does the rest. Read the readme.txt file to learn more about the artists that contributed to this theme.
