When upgrading from Vista to Windows 7, you may find your first problem very early on. If your progress bar sits at 62 percent for more than 10 minutes, you'll know that something is wrong. The culprit is a service called Iphlpsvc, which may stop responding to your system during the installation. Fortunately, the solution is relatively easy. If you don't feel like messing around with your PC's settings, download and install Microsoft's automated fix for the problem, Microsoft Fix it 50319. Just follow the wizard, and it should resolve the difficulty in about a minute.
