Yamipod lets you copy MP3 and AAC audio files to and from your iPod
and PC. This freebie from the creators of Floola
includes playlist support, allowing you to import and export,
Last.fm support, and RSS and podcast support. Like Floola, you can
easily detect and remove duplicate tracks. Like Floola, it includes
a music player, but no equalizer. One annoyance is the arrangement
of files in the interface; album, rather than artist, is listed
after the song title; this is counterintuitive if you're used to
the old iTunes
layouts. It also does not list genre, which might make
playlist-building more difficult.
