To remove commercials from standard-def TV recordings, launch VideoReDo Plus and open one of the shows. Use the Ad-Detective scan feature, and VideoReDo will analyze and mark sections as possible commercial breaks. You can jump between these points with the red forward- and back-arrows and easily select swaths of video to cut.
