The World Clock displays the current time in five to eight cities (depending how you choose to display it). You choose the cities you prefer from a list of 260.

The Currency Exchanger converts cash amounts between two of 160 currencies (there are about 180 currencies in the world, so that's most of them). Use the Measurement Converter to end confusion when switching between the commonest metric and imperial units of measurement.

The Country Info browser reports useful information about 230 individual countries, such as the country's flag, two- and three-letter country codes, type of currency used, and telephone prefix.

A Pro version of Globex adds slightly more to the package. You'll get a Currency Filter tool to filter out currencies you're not interested in, the area codes for North American cities that appear in the World Clock, and a World Time Converter tool, to more quickly answer questions like, "When it's 11 a.m. in San Francisco, what time is it in Bucharest?" But all of this is not enough to merit 154,440 manat (if you're in Turkmenistan) or US$30.
