Note: This review covers v2.45 of the software.

Master Voyager solves one of the least-thought-about dangers to your privacy and the release of private information: Losing USB flash drives or CDs. This program solves the problem by letting you password-protect USB flash drives or CDs so that only someone with the proper password can read information on them. That way, if you lose one and someone else finds it, your data is safe.

In addition to securing entire USB drives and CDs, Master Voyager also lets you create secure partitions. That way, you can have a partition for public information, and one for private information. After you create a secure partition, or protect an entire USB drive or CD, when you insert the USB drive or CD into a PC, and the Windows AutoPlay screen appears, with a new entry, Manage Secure Partitions. Double-click that entry, and you'll be prompted to enter a password. Enter the password, and you get access; if you don't enter it or enter it incorrectly you're locked out.

Note: In the trial version, you can only use the password "123" to create and mount secure partitions.
