To use this program you don't necessarily have to be comfortable with writing scripts, but it certainly helps. To get you started, it comes with more than 220 individual actions such as creating a new Excel document, or checking the Yahoo stock information page. You drag each of these actions to the window and can combine them into more sophisticated tasks--although to do that you'll need to do some script editing.

VTask Studio will be particularly welcomed by power users, because it has some quite sophisticated features, such as compiling your complicated scripts into an executable .exe file that can then be run as a standalone program. Those who are not comfortable with scripting, though, may find this program too difficult to use.
