Installation is a breeze: After downloading the .zip file, extract its contents onto the top-level directory of any thumb drive. Then double-click the IdentityPal file, or remove and re-connect the thumb drive to launch the program via its autorun option.

To change identity data, provide the "FREEDEMO" demo password. You'll then be prompted to add your name, emergency phone numbers, allergy data, and a list of critical medications. From then on, anyone who connects the thumb drive to a PC can view those details.

Since any would-be emergency responder would have to connect the thumb drive to a PC before he or she could view that emergency info, you probably wouldn't want to use this free demo software in place of a notification bracelet. IdentityPal Lite i meant as a limited demo for the company's full-featured paid device.
