If you're looking to turn Windows Clipboard from an anemic utility to a truly useful piece of software, give Memo Clip a try. It saves multiple clips, and lets you view, edit, combine, and clean up clips, and paste them into any application. More than that, it allows you to create multiple collections of clips, so that you can easily browse through and use information and clips that you want to re-use, such as boilerplate text.

It saves an unlimited number of clips, so you'll never lose anything. And a particularly powerful feature is its shortcut function, which lets you insert large amounts of text by typing in a letter or two. So if you have legal boilerplate you need to insert into documents regularly, you can type "bp," and all the boilerplate will be inserted into the document.

The program has one significant drawback: It won't save graphics as clips. So if you need to save graphics as clips, you'll have to look to another program, such as ClipMate. Apart from that, though, this is a very solid clip utility.
