Unicent Avanta E333
Unicent Avanta E333
The $999 Unicent Avanta E333 provides Pentium II power, as evidenced by the Avanta's benchmark score of 171. But Unicent shaved some features to the bone, though this machine's target market of first-time home and home-office users probably won't know what they're missing--except for the conspicuously absent office applications suite. On the other hand, the system wouldn't be so affordable without such trade-offs.
The well-organized documentation has good basic FAQs and troubleshooting
information. Unicent backs its machines with a three-year parts and labor
warranty, but weekday phone support is limited to only 13 hours a day.
