Quantex QP6/400 M-4x

Quantex QP6/400 M-4x

Any serious gamer seeking lots of muscle at an affordable price should take a good look at the QP6/400 M. Its Pentium II-400 CPU can't match the superlative WorldBench scores of 450-MHz systems, but it comes close. Fast-paced games still look great--the STB Nitro graphics card combined with the Diamond Voodoo 2 (3Dfx) PCI card helped the QP6/400 M-4x post the second-highest graphics scores of all the systems we tested, and its ACS-90 speakers provide great sound. Although there's only one free PCI slot for upgrades, the three free external drive bays offer plenty of room for adding a tape backup and other drives. Bundled titles include the games Heavy Gear and Battle Zone in addition to the software bundled with the Quantex QP6/350 4-Mx. The system comes with a three-year parts warranty and a one-year labor warranty, as well as round-the-clock support. In our recent Reliability and Service survey, Quantex's home systems received an Average reliability rating and a Good service score.
