The $2399 QP6/400 SM-4x SE offers some nice features, but unimpressive performance coupled with a high sticker price for its class keep it off our chart. The QP6/400 SM-4x SE earned a PC WorldBench score of 207--only slightly above average for PII-400s.

The ergonomic crowd will appreciate the Microsoft Natural Keyboard and Intellimouse combination, and everybody will like the crystal-clear 19-inch monitor. The system's neatly organized interior offers four free slots (two PCI, two ISA), four free internal bays, and two free external bays.
