Twitter Search

Sometimes you just want to know what's going on with a particular person, or a particular hashtag, on Twitter. The Twitter Search Firefox add-on is a useful--yet practically invisible--tool for doing just this. Twitter Search lets you look up Twitter users and Twitter hashtags by typing directly into your browser's address bar.

To use Twitter Search, all you have to do is go up to the address bar and type a Twitter username (complete with the @) or a hashtag (with the #) and hit "enter." Twitter Search will then take you directly to that user's/hashtag's page.

Note: This link takes you to the add-on's page at Mozilla.org, where you can automatically install the file into your Firefox browser.
