When our tablet expert, Senior Editor Melissa Perenson, reviewed the Wi-Fi/3G version at launch she gave it 3.5 stars out of 5 (read "Motorola Xoom: First Android 3.0 Tablet Impresses, but Drawbacks Remain" for details). One thing she took issue with was its high price: the Motorola Xoom that she reviewed launched at $600 with a two-year Verizon contract. But the Wi-Fi model's price keeps falling--from $500 back in June to now only $450 at Amazon.com, with free shipping. Note: The sale price was adjusted on October 12, as Amazon changed its pricing. --Editor
