LLS delivers a mixed bag with its Celeron-400. The system offers satisfactory performance, earning a 181 PC WorldBench score in our tests--slightly below the 188 median for systems with similar specs. At $1649--about $100 more than other offerings in its class--it's priced squarely in the middle. The Celeron-400 sports such features as a power button near the top of its midsize tower chassis; a quiet, ergonomic Microsoft keyboard, and a CD rewriteable drive. Instead of an overall manual, the Celeron-400 comes with a disorganized array of component pamphlets. If you need additional assistance, LLS's support offerings may leave you nonplussed: technicians staff the phones just eight hours a day and aren't available on weekends. We had trouble reaching tech support in our anonymous calls, and rushed reps gave us mediocre advice.
