BEST USE: A decent, but undistinguished, home or small-office system.
WHAT'S HOT: The midtower case provides easy access to the system's two open slots and two open drive bays. There's a padlock-loop for securing your components against office thieves; the 3D performance and the quality of the 15-inch monitor are above average. The five-year labor warranty and three-year parts coverage are luxurious by any standard.
WHAT'S NOT: The lack of a reset button or auxiliary power switch means you must unplug the system when it crashes. The TaskMaster's middle-of-the-road PC Worldbench score of 170 is reasonably fast but not super speedy. The uninitiated will find the lack of a users guide or setup sheet frustrating. The ports are labeled with stickers that will eventually fall off.
VALUE: A solid system, but the TaskMaster lacks thorough documentation or any outstanding features.
