Celebrate the colors of fall with this series of eight beautiful nature photographs.

I love autumn, with its crisp air and long nights. The one thing that bothers me about the season is that, living as I do on the West Coast, I tend to miss out on the glorous fall colors that my friends on the East Coast gloat over every year. I finally decided to do something about it--I loaded this lovely Autumn Leaves theme onto my Window 7 PC.

The theme features eight photographs that take a unique perspective on the season. In "Autumn," decafinata shows golden leaves resting in a statue personifying the season. Photochem_PA's "A Lone Autumn Leaf" focuses on a stubborn leaf hanging on during the unseasonably early snows back East this season. In "Red" Wendy Zootnik gives us a poetic composition, and in "Flow" she gets us amazingly close to a swirling stream. Psyberartist takes us even further than Zootnik, zooming so close in to a leaf in "Autumn Blues" that it looks like an abstract painting. "Autumn Lost" backs up a bit with a more traditional sunlight-through-leaves shot--but XOZ's use of color here is masterful. Mike Nebesniuk captured "HDR Autumn Dock" during a hike along meandering rural stream near Sault Ste. Marie in Ontario, Canada, after an autumn storm. Finally, unlike the other photographers, who shoot au naturel, sleepyjeanie composed her "Autumn Leaves and Aretha" as a tribute to her favorite singer.

If you love fall colors and fine photography, our Autumn Leaves Windows 7 theme will suit you nicely. Be sure to visit our contributing photographers' sites to enjoy their other nature shots.

Note: To install the Windows 7 theme, just unzip the archive file and double-click the themepack within. Windows does the rest.
