In our battery of tests, the Voodoo3 3000 emerged as the fastest 3D performer yet. This high-ticket board also comes with a hefty bundle of extras. But the drivers 3dfx sent with our test board introduced some unfortunate quirks, including uneven image quality. During Quake II tests, the board displayed transparency effects beautifully, but dark lighting effects and faded colors hurt its overall 3D rating.
