Ultimate StarCraft 2 Lego Project Uses 15,000 Bricks

Photo: Sven JungaEveryone loves a good Lego project: Whether it's making an idea off the top of your head to following the instructions on a kit, building Lego creations can be a fun pastime for yourself or with others. It sure looks like Sven Junga also enjoys sitting down with a tub of bricks, given he built this massive Lego battlecruiser.

The project is a Lego replica of the StarCraft 2 ship, the Hyperion. Not only is it 115 studs lon g (studs are the small circular parts of Lego bricks that allow them to snap together), but it took 15,000 Lego pieces and over six months to build. That's one big box of Lego.

The Hyperion comes complete with details such as little windows, and it portrays the game's version of the crusier almost perfectly. Sven can now add this huge beast to his various other StarCraft 2 creations, such as a Space Marine and Terran Viking. You can see them all over on his Flickr page.

What Lego project have you undertaken recently?
