The Dark Room is a YouTube video adventure game produced by the comedian John Robertson, who is currently touring Australia and New Zealand.
The game is all about getting out of the dark room by clicking different options that lead to different videos. It plays just like an old-school text-adventure game or choose-your-own-adventure game, complete with all the silly options like "weeping in the dark" along with "your mom" jokes. The difference is that when you pick an option, you load up another video of Robertson's hilariously demoralizing commentary.
The videos are unlisted, so you won’t be able to search your way to the ending or find it within Robertson’s YouTube page. While it might seem like there is no way out after going though the first 30-videos, there is an ending--two in fact. You just have to look in the dark…room.
