Happy Pi Day! I hope you had fun eating pi-themed pie, reciting pi to some obscene number of digits, and otherwise geeking out to everyone's favorite mathematical constant (well, unless you're a Tau Day adherent, anyway). We have a few fun items to share with you here, so without further ado, here's GeekBytes for March 14, 2012.
Want to propose to your significant other in style? Buy some roses, light a few candles, cook a gourmet dinner, and purchase a TARDIS-themed engagement ring. The ring features a center stone surrounded by a motif modled after the iconic time-travel ship from Dr. Who. We at GeekTech can't think of a better way to pop the question. [via Geekologie]
Got a game room? Why not replace your traditional, boring lightswitch with one with arcade cabinet buttons? The lightswitches cost $35 each, but you'll need to be patient if you want one. According to its creators, you can expect to wait 3-4 weeks before yours arrives. [via This Is Why I'm Broke]
Many iPhone docks are merely speaker sets or alarm clocks with a dock connector on the top. The Cdock is a little different: It's thin--just wide enough for an iPhone 4 or 4S to slide into without a case--and essentially turns your iPhone into a clock (just install an alarm clock app). It's a pretty slick piece of gadgetry, but it isn't cheap--prices range from $55-$70. [via Macgasm]
