Images and details of Verizon's Droid Turbo leak

Motorola is clearly not finished cranking out its angry robot line of Droid phones for Verizon. Photos of an alleged Droid Turbo hit the HellomotoHK Facebook page Tuesday, showing a phone with the familiar carbon weave and dark exterior the Droids are known for.

The device is rumored to support fast charging, much like the Moto X does when paired with an optional $40 charger. It looks to follow the Droid Maxx phones in offering a robust exterior and (hopefully) long battery life.

The familiar "carbon fiber" look is back in the Droid line.

Other rumors point to a phone with a quad HD display, Snapdragon 805 processor, 3GB of RAM, and 32GB of storage.

As the photos are somewhat murky, it isn't possible to tell more about the screen size or other features until we get some definitive details.

The Droid line was the first mainstream Android phones to really become popular in 2009 when the wireless industry was panicked over the lack of any major competitor to the newly popular iPhone.

The "Droid Does" tagline was part of Motorola and Verizon's marketing effort to distinguish the phones as more customizable and extendable than the iPhone, an argument that even continues today.
