This month, several sub-$500 digital cameras have been discontinued, including our former Best Buy, the Fujifilm FinePix 1300. Our new number one is HP's PhotoSmart 618, thanks to its second $100 price drop in three months. Newcomers are Sony's floppy disk-based MVC-FD87 and Minolta's Dimage 2330 Zoom, which packs the most pixels on the chart and long battery life, but little else. Next month: $500-and-over models.
