Paradox 8 Integrates With WordPerfect Suite

Latest version of Paradox gains new features, full integration with WordPerfect Suite 8 Professional business application suite.

At last, Paradox gains full integration with Corel%squots Office Professional business application suite with the latest version, 8.0. Now users of WordPerfect Suite 8 Professional (the successor to Corel Office Professional) can launch WordPerfect and Quattro documents from within Paradox. Merging Paradox 8 data into WordPerfect documents and Quattro spreadsheets is also easier. The standard edition of Paradox is $129.

Corel has added new Experts (guides like Microsoft%squots wizards that walk you through various tasks) to make Paradox 8 easier to use. However, like Microsoft%squots Access 97, this is still a big program; novices might find it intimidating. New features that bring Paradox more into line with the Access 97 feature set include an Expert that helps with design tasks such as changing field colors and borders, Experts for publishing database information to the Web and documenting databases, and 20 additional built-in styles for forms and reports. Paradox 8 also lets you use data from Microsoft Access databases directly, without having to go through an importing process.
