Ulead%squots PhotoImpact Gives Businesses Web Graphic and Video Editing Tools

Image and video editing software now has tools for optimizing graphics for the Web.

Ulead%squots PhotoImpact 4.0 with Web Extensions is a business-oriented image and video editing package that includes a capable set of tools designed for optimizing graphics for the Web. New and improved features include extensive options for creating customized 3D text overlays for your images, and an improved Web button designer, Web page background designer, and GIF animator.

Ulead also added a much-needed preview feature that shows how your PhotoImpact creations will look using different Web browsers. A new URL-aware album manages both local and Web-based images. PhotoImpact%squots interface is customizable for your experience level, but is mainly designed for serious Web work.

The bottom line? For a street price of $100, you get a powerful package on two CD-ROMs with 3000 photos, 450 animations, and an interactive tutorial--plus a 300-page manual.
