Diamond Ships Modem-Bonding Software

Works with Diamond%squots SupraExpress 56 and any other modem.

Diamond Multimedia has just released its new Shotgun software for bonding two analog modems to virtually double the bandwidth.

The software is free to download. Once installed, Shotgun can be used to combine the SupraExpress 56K modem with any other analog modem and a second phone line. Not every ISP currently supports multilink modem connections, but Diamond says that most can be configured to work with Shotgun.

The technology is also included with Diamond%squots new SupraSonic II dual-line modem.
