Terapin has taken the term "multifunction storage device" to a new level. The Mine puts a 10GB hard drive with a PC Card slot, an ethernet port, USB master and slave ports, and a microphone/headphone jack into a sleek, silver-and-gray, videocassette-size case. Use it as a portable backup drive, an MP3 player, or a storage device for images from a digital camera. The device easily connects to a Windows 98, Me, or 2000 PC via its USB cable. You copy files to and from its hard drive just as you would with any other external drive. The Mine's 16-character-by-four-line backlit LCD is intended only for navigating through the device's files--it can't display images stored inside.
