If you give on-the-road business presentations, your Handspring Visor can assist you--thanks to a new Springboard module: Margi Systems' Presenter-to-Go. You can store converted PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and other documents either on the module (its 2MB memory holds up to 100 slides) or in your Visor's memory. My shipping unit showed that it could easily connect to any digital projector, monitor, or laptop with a 1024 by 768 display.

The device ships with a remote for controlling the presentation through the Visor's IR port (the range was limited to about 6 feet). Presenter-to-Go costs a hefty $300, and slides must be static--no animations or other effects. It also needs an external power supply (included), though you can review slides in the Visor's memory with battery power. A monochrome Visor can present slides in 256 colors, but if you show photos, they don't look crisp. Margi Systems.
